The rooftop view was absolutely stunning! 😍 The room was spacious and clean. However, the laundry area at night could feel a bit creepy with poor lighting. Overall, a great stay!

I truly enjoyed my stay at Terrace Kiyomizu Kyoto. The staff were exceptionally kind, consistently eager to assist and provide valuable recommendations. The laundry facilities on the rooftop were convenient, and the location was perfect for exploring Kiyomizu-dera temple.

The hotel is well-kept and offers easy access to Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

I was disappointed with the noise levels in the hotel. The constant foot traffic and tour buses outside made it hard to relax. Moreover, the nearby restaurants closed early, forcing us to walk quite a distance for meals, which wasn’t ideal after a long day of sightseeing.

The staff provided exceptional service, attending to our needs promptly and with a friendly smile. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes’ walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and surrounded by charming streets filled with unique shops and eateries. The rooftop area offered breathtaking views both at sunrise and sunset, making it a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring.

The lighting in the laundry area could be improved for better visibility at night.

The Standard Double Room was spacious and clean, which I loved. The bed was really firm, just how I like it, and they offered a topper if you wanted something softer.
